Witnesses is released!

The nine stories of Witnesses was a labor of love, written over nineteen months and many cups of coffee. Interestingly, Witnesses was almost a ten-story collection. I wrestled with a final story told from the perspective of a coin that witnessed Jesus cleansing the temple courts. It had moments I really liked, but in the end it never quite came together the way I hoped. It was a good story—but not good enough.

In Witnesses, I tried be in each person’s world. What did they see, hear, feel, taste, and smell? I tried to see through each person’s eyes in every story and live in their experiences when they brushed up against the divine. Those questions guided every page I wrote. What you read is the result of that struggle. I enjoyed writing it, I hope you’ll enjoy reading them.
